A Memphis man told officers a complaint about his behavior was just a simple misunderstanding, according to police.
He said he wasn’t fondling himself. Instead, he claimed he was merely “giving his penis some air,” according to a police affidavit.
According to the affidavit, officers responded to a complaint Wednesday evening that Augustus Hudgins, 41, exposed himself and was masturbating on a bench in Court Square Downtown.
He’s been charged with indecent exposure and is being held on $100 bond.
