I hate USC

See that? Want to know what I hate about this? USC having lost to a (still) unranked U of Washington team, is ahead of these either unbeaten or 1-loss teams:
- Unbeaten TCU
- LSU who lost to BCS ranked #1 Florida.
- Miami who lost to BCS ranked #14 Va Tech.
- Oregon who lost to BCS ranked #4 Boise State.
- Ga Tech who lost to BCS ranked #10 Miami (and just beat BCS ranked #14 VA Tech)
- Penn State who lost to BCS ranked #6 Iowa
- OK State who lost to BCS ranked #17 Houston
- Utah who lost to BCS ranked #11 Oregon
See a trend here? All these teams have 1-loss (except TCU who is undefeated) and their losses are to teams that are actually worth a shit. USC lost to University of Washington who has since gone on to lose 75% (1-4) of their games since beating USC. None of their losses come to ranked teams.
This isn’t a diatribe on the BCS or the computer models. In fact I was glad to see that USC dropped when the BCS came out. In fact I wish that they would drop the human polls since shit-bag teams like USC ALWAYS get votes based on prestige and not performance.
