I don’t mind hearing about the Lord if you MUST tell me.
But can I have my coffee first?

(Seriously WHY am I being attacked by the office lunatic, running behind me with his short legs and a mini Bible in his hands,  before the caffeine is flowing trough my veins? WHY?!)

Apparently he’s one of those God-people who don’t know anything about compassion.

Why are they talking about that at work anyhow? Do you work in a church?

You’d be surprised what goes on in work places. When we have company luncheons, we first have a group “blessing” on the food. While technically it isn’t mandatory, you sure do feel odd sitting with your head up while 30 others are bowing in prayer.

I have asked for them to stop (anonymously with the HR person) so we’ll see what happens. I have no problem with each and every person who wants to say a blessing before they eat to have that privilege. I just have never understood why it has to be a “Lets ALL bow our heads and give thanks”?
