Former Oconee County High School quarterback Zach Mettenberger was arrested near Valdosta for possession of alcohol and other related charges. He was arrested at a bar called Flip Flops in Remerton, GA (surrounded by Valdosta) near Valdosta State University for disorderly conduct and underage possession of alcohol and possibly a third (felony)? charge and is now back in Athens. Zach’s mother is a secretary for the UGA football team.
